📍 We are looking for a passionate and committed intern, joining our investment team in Paris from January or March 2024
BGV is an early stage venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley with a presence in Israel, Europe (France) and India (Bangalore). With $450M+ under management, we have invested in 40+ companies to date, from Seed & Series A to publicly traded on Nasdaq, in enterprise-facing businesses companies who lead the digital transformation of all sectors of the economy. We are 100% focused on cross-border companies, investing in startups that are conceived outside the US and helping them scale-up globally. Our investment strategy is articulated into 3 main areas:
(1) AI-Based Vertical Solutions: E-commerce & Logistics, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Climate Tech & ESG
(2) Cloud/Edge Infrastructure/Security: DevOps, Cyber Security, Developer Productivity, Data Ops
(4) Key Enterprise Functions: Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance & HR, Employee Success.
BGV has a strong ESG mandate around AI, making sure algorithms do good by design and do no harm. We are a founding member and leading voice in the Ethical AI Governance Group (EAIGG) that brings together AI practitioners, entrepreneurs and investors. The goal is to promote responsible AI governance across our industry.
Joining our internship program is a unique opportunity to be involved with and learn from the leading startup ecosystems (Sillicon Valley, Israel and France). You will be based in Paris but we expect you to work closely with our team in the US and in Israel as well, including with our MBA interns from the Kellogg School of Management.
